This activity has a few different tools you need to use. First, remember the drawing toolbar that you used in the Shape activity, you will need to use it again.
Open your word document, go to View, Toolbars and check the Drawing toolbar.
To make the pyramid, use the line tool...when you click on this tool and move your cursor over your page, a crosshair appears, wherever you click is where you will start your line. Now drag your line and when you want to stop, just let go of your mouse. Continue until you finish your pyramid.
Next you need your arrows. Again we will use Auto Shapes on the Drawing toolbar, then Block arrows. Select an arrow. When you move your cursor over your page, the crosshairs appear. Click where you want your arrow to start, stretch it into the desired shape and let go of your mouse.
To color your arrow, click on the paint bucket, select a color, then click on the arrow.
To insert text, click on the insert text icon on the drawing toolbar (it looks like a little page with an A on it).
Again your cursor becomes a crosshair, click on the page to establish the position of your text and a box appears for you to start typing. You can size the box using the double arrows that appear when you position your cursor on the border of the box. You may also select text type and size using the formatting toolbar above.
Last is the clip art, depending on the topic (animals, food, weather, plants)...go to Insert, Clip art and place it at the bottom of the page
